That was odd. The Node was totally silent and I didn’t close it here until a few minutes after the hour. Then it would not open again, and Windows Media couldn’t find the link. I had the radio in the car crossbanding the node to UHF for my VX2. It was one of the few occasions when the repeater wasn’t already in use.
For the record, when I checked in I was out in the brilliant sunshine, lying under a Robinson R44 Helicopter, adjusting the ADF receiver antenna. It would have been Hamsexy indeed to have checked in /AM.
Great net too. I was also surrounded by TV and Radio people as we are completing two News Gathering choppers, and they all wanted to know who you guys were! The sounds of so many foreign voices out of the little HT certainly caused a stir.
