Cool, I will do my best to be in attendance this go around, especially as I had to work during the HF net last week and got my days screwed up for the IRLP-Echolink net net last night. I usually hang on 3.895 so I will be close by.

  2. kb0kmj says:

Sounds good. If you are on 3.895 I will have to stop by and say hello. I listen a lot on 75 but I don’t transmit much.

  3. KG4BMK says:

I am mobile in Md now i will try to check into the net. 3.895 is usually pretty busy in the SE United States 3.875 should be a good one though. I will not be able to get internet service during net time so Tom please call me if it wont be held on 3.875

    Wish I could make it, guys.. I’m HF-deficient 🙂

BEst of luck! Hopefully 75 meters works better!

Hey Stephen, I will be there even if no others can be heard bro!

I’ve got some horrible electrical noise on 3875 today. Heard some of you though

  7. VE3HBD says:

Greaet job!! Sounds like 75m is the way to go, eh?

  8. grinthock says:

    75M eh? Wow…

Never had much luck in that area of the band — perhaps I might have to get the G5RV setup, alas, need a tuner.. 🙁

  9. ku4my says:

Yep Bryan, 75m was not in as bad a shape as I have seen it. Not bragging, as the former owner, a SK who is a very dear friend pretty much got her all together as she is today, but I have seen very few non DSP rigs that have the filtering capabilities as my wee beastie. Even though I am no powerhouse on transmit, I usually have little trouble hearing anybody anywhere. I think it may be worth some continued effort and may work out on 75m (especially at that time of the evening) and maybe we could try other bands and times on the weekend so others may participate too.

Oh and BTW, kodos to Mike for doing a fantastic job, I wish I could have stayed for the whole net!

  11. kb0kmj says:

Thanks guys and I’m glad to do it. I am also glad to see the increased interest. It’s a work in progress but we’ll get it figured out. So you all next week.

I will try to check in this week. Only 100 watts, but I’ll try.
