A big hearty thank you for those that organized and helped man the booth.
I haven’t laughed like that in a long time.

While I was another schmuck unable to make Dayton this year (too far away…), I was able to experience it vicariously through X’s great postings. Thanks dude!
An anonymous donor came by the Hamsexy booth and dropped off a CD full of Dayton 2005 photos for us to publish. Needless to say, it was wall to wall Hamsexy gold, so it’s my honor to present them to you over the next couple of posts. There’s too many to unleash at once, so stay tuned for my second installment.
From what I’ve been told, there are HUNDREDS of Dayton photos currently being sifted through by our contributors and Dayton fireteams, so keep an eye on Hamsexy for what will undoubtedly be an exaustive and entertaining recap of DAYTON HAMVENTION 2005!
Here’s part one:
Action at the Hamsexy Booth…. W0AMY and some Hamsexy field agents
W0AMY and X have some fun at the Hamsexy booth
Nothing says DAYTON like unexplained, spontaneous homoerotic nudity
The Hamsexy Banner, in all it’s glory
A proud new owner of a HAMSEXY WHORE SHIRT!!
Nothing says “Dayton” like… umm… fire extinguishers?
The FBI is letting their entrance requirements down in the wake of 9/11
Ahh… Dayton Beer
A big ole crate of radios
To read all of Hamsexy’s Dayton 2005 antics in one place, be sure to click on DAYTON 2005 under the “Categories” box on the sidebar to the right of the page. And remeber, we accept all submissions regarding Dayton 2005… commentary, reviews, and always photos. Send them to submissions@hamsexy.com. Thanks to everyone for making Dayton 2005 a success, and be sure to catch us there next year!!
Hey kids…. while I wasn’t able to make Dayton this year (and I’m pissed off about it… hehe), I’m hoping that maybe next year will smile better upon me. From what I’ve been hearing, it sounds like a blast. My Hamsexy hetero life-mate Seth N3JFW is on the ground in Dayton, and sends us some of these photos of the action.
Bill KC9ANQ embraces with the lovely Amy W0AMY, a fan of Hamsexy.
People don’t realize that Dayton isn’t all about radios… there’s a lot of sex that goes on after the lights go out.
Hamstud Bill KC9ANQ with the lovely ladies of US Tower Systems.

No update on Hamsexy is complete without some freak with a radio on his back.
Thanks to everyone who came up to see our booth at the Hamvention – if you’re a new visitor to the site, or have visited us before, thanks for visiting!!
Thanks so much to Batdude for being our Girl Friday in Dayton, and thanks to X for filing daily reports from the Hamvention. Saturday and Sunday are to come, so stay tuned kids!!!
As our ground troops are mobilizing upon Dayton, for those like myself who are unable to make it to the 2005 Hamstock are able to vicariously take part via the WA5KUB DAYTON WEBCAM!
It’s got a live webcam and chat window. The link can be found here: http://x.tmedlin.com/newchat2a.html
Alright folks, the annual Woodstock of Ham Radio is drawing near…. And we’ll be a part of it!
That’s right – thanks to a generous (and anonymous) corporate donor, Hamsexy has been given it’s own booth INSIDE ON THE CONVENTION FLOOR!!
Look for us at Booth #193, right next to the ARRL display (chuckle). It’s a good, high traffic corner booth. Stop by and meet some of the friends and staff of Hamsexy that will be on hand to preach the wisdom and teachings of Hamsexy to the passing fare. Just look for the huge banner and the lack of smell.
We need your help, though. Although the space was graciously paid for, we are incurring some extra costs involved in promotion and developing some clever and inventive giveaways. Batdude, our man on the floor at Dayton and worshipful master/organizer of the booth, needs some extra cash to put into the booth. If you can help him out, please visit his post on the Hamsexy Forums.
If you want to help Batdude and the Hamsexy Dayton team out, please donate to their cause via PayPal – send it to [email protected] Even $5 goes a long way to helping us out.
We’re working on a live video feed from the booth, as well as some other surprises. Our man “X” will be filing reports live from the fields of Dayton, watch for them throughout Dayton Weekend.
It’s gonna be great – stay tuned everyone!!
This month is May, and it marks the 1st year anniversary of Hamsexy.com
To borrow an arcane and somewhat irrelevant advertising touchstone, “We’ve come a long way, baby”.
We’ve evolved from a single page with a half-naked Japanese girl wearing a witty slogan to the dynamic juggernaught that we pretend we are today.
Thanks for helping us move along the dusty road, and here’s to a million more years of Hamsexy!!
To all of our friends… Love, Bryan & Seth
Here’s an e-mail we got from Robert KE4MCL:
ham+tennis ball can+welder+computer geek=uberhamsexy
What is it? A device used for shooting tennis balls at tailgaters or is part of a new game called “hole the pigeon”?
Enter the hamsexy mobile sterilization station.. This is what happens when you let a wardriving ham get near a pile of scrap steel and a welder. Being the good cheap ham that he is he welded himself up an antenna mount from scrap steel then strapped it in with adjustable straps and topped it off with a homemade 2.4ghz cantenna that looks like its about to neutralize oncoming drivers.
Never mind the loss of the coax running into the cab, its still hamsexy!
Friend of Hamsexy Justin VE3UDP sent us this update from the wilds of the Canadian Rockies:
“Justin and Leigh VE3HYP send in these photos from their mini HamSpedition into the Canadian Rockies, after saying hello to Nick at the local NTF Communications in Calgary and purchasing a VX-6R they proceeded to Banff to climb high above a local waterfall to take some spectacular photo’s, VE3UDP being tired lugging his hamsexy gut around, they decided to take the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur mountain, and visit the ledgondary “Cosmic Ray Station” built in 1956. Seen here the pair is attempting to contact other amateurs and stop for a quick IRLP back to Ontario before heading down.
