Even a little Linseed oil or even a few coats of Varathane will spruce up that plywood. <\/p>\n<p>b) The blatantly illegal FRS set-up &#8211; come on, even Hams should know better<\/p>\n<p>c) The base of the console that looks like it was stolen from the set of St. Elsewhere<\/p>\n<p>d) The Holy Card on the wall (If any Hamsexy Catholics can ID the card, please let us know)<\/p>\n<p>e) The absolutely ANCIENT commercial rigs (obviously set up to transmit) they have <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hamsexy.com\/cms\/wp-content\/gabe.jpg\" height=\"191\" width=\"131\" border=\"1\" align=\"right\" hspace=\"4\" vspace=\"4\" alt=\"Gabe\" \/>on public safety rigs, when a lawnchair, a cooler, a Yaesu portable and a Uniden scanner would serve nicely. <\/p>\n<p>f) The huge tangle of microphone cords going every which way, seemingly into light sockets, speakers, thin air, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of Cathoclism, just in case anyone was wondering, <b>Gabriel the Archangel<\/b> is the Patron Saint of Amateur Radio. Being God&#8217;s messenger throughout the Bible, and the sounder of the trumpet on Judgement Day, it&#8217;s an obvious choice. St. Gabe is also the Patron Saint of stamp collectors, broadcasters, Portugal, Argentinean ambassadors and postal workers. So now you know.
