Another favourite from 2005 was this gem, taken by Josh K6ZRX at the Livermore, California swap meet. (Thanks for the heads up, man!)
A homemade magmount with homemade test points….. it doens’t look like it could survive a brief rainstorm much less a few miles on a windy interstate. But man, those magnets will ensure that unit don’t go NOWHERE.
I’ll be publishing a few more of my favourites throughout the week.
Well, sort of a get together. Batdude and motorola_otaku met up, with a bunch of hot chicks.

It’s time for our second Hamsexy VOIP Weekender Net!
The net will begin at 1800GMT (1300 EST, 1000 PST). Net control will be Bryan VE3HBD.
The net can be accessed via:
IRLP: Node 9008
Echolink: *VAN-IRLP* (remember the asterisks!!)
For those who want to listen but aren’t hams or can’t get access to either Echolink or IRLP, Terry VE3NSV’s usual stream will be up at http://ve3nsv.no-ip.org:8000/hamsexy.m3u. The Warp Radio Network will NOT be streaming the net, but you are welcome to go there anyway (grin)
UPDATE:
Here’s the calllist for the net. A lean six check-ins, but it was Christmas Eve after all…
VE3NSV Terry in Kitchener, Ontario
VA3FRY Steven in Port Elgin, Ontario
GM0UIN Jim in Glasgow, Scotland
WA3RDM Bob in LaPorte, Pennsylvanie

We got this image from an anonymous submitter with no description, just “Oklahoma Scanner Club Meeting” as the subject line.
So, we’ll publish it. It’s got radios and food… can’t get more hamsexy than that.
The usual Wednesday Night net will go live tonight! One and all are welcome to join us.
Please note the net’s new time: 0230 GMT (2130 EST, 2030CST, 1830PST)

After the net, join me for the DJ SPORADIC B SHOW on theWarp Radio Network. I’ll be spinning your favourite songs from across genres and the vast reaches of time. Join us on the Warp Radio Chatroom to request songs and to chat with the rest of the listeners. Warp Radio is the premier internet radio station, and DJ Zath and the rest of the crew are great guys and gals who appreciate great music and great companionship.
Also remember to join us this Saturday for the Hamsexy Weekender VOIP Net! It’s this Saturday at 1800GMT (1300 EST 1000PST)
2005 was certainly a good year in Hamsexy. Between now and the end of the year we will be revisiting some of our more memorable Hamsexy vehicles.
First, the winner of the 2005 Hamsexy Hooptiethon, the Porcupine Cruiser!

If you remember, it was a Caprice with a whacktastic lightbar, more antennae than most international airports, a sickening jumble of scanners and radios littering the inside, and a baffling placement of an orange strobe beacon….. as it was postulated before, to prevent any chance of seeing out the back window through the forest of antennae.
We’ll be featuring more between now and the end of the year. Enjoy!
Just proof that some idiots have absolutley NOTHING else better to do with their lives…

I’m sure there are charities he could be contributing to, or maybe finally shovelling the snow out from the sidewalk…..
More proof that Ham Radio is doomed.
